HomeBase developed
PassTracker in conjunction with Cliffhanger. PassTracker is an activity management software package. This software keeps track of membership passes for customers of the gym. They can scan using a bar code scanner. Each time they scan in, the system tracks how many times they have used their pass.
For Pique Magazine, we recently redid a sales tracking system that records the sales of a vibrant weekly newsmagazine in Whistler BC in FileMaker 8, employing some of the nice new features, such as auto-generation of PDFs and emails for customers.
The Vancouver Folk Music Festival is one of Vancouver’s oldest festivals and every year it brings a host of talented artists to Jericho Park in July. An extensive Volunteer tracking application was developed for the Vancouver Folk Music Festival, integrating a web form so volunteers can sign up online. The solution then allows a volunteer coordinator to assign and track volunteers and to communicate these lists to various volunteer committees coordinators. Another database helps track all the contract, scheduling and organizational details of the artists who play at the festival.
The Western Front is one of Canada’s first artist-run centres. HomeBase Software is working with the Front to develop a comprehensive database to help the Front track their audience and artists. Communicating with their audience is an essential requirement and we are developing a link between FileMaker’s great organizational and workflow tools and the powerful mailing list management services of the web application MailChimp.
